Um Dia Bom

“With no separation between life and filmmaking,
each day on set felt like a celebration of creativity, connection, and joy.”

António wakes to find a lifeless copy of himself floating in the pool. No explanation. No warning. As confusion turns to paranoia and grief, the tension in the family grows. But outside their small world, life carries on — indifferent, unshaken, as if nothing strange has happened at all.

The film had its premiere at the 2025 edition of IndieLisboa – International Film Festival, marking a special moment for this personal and collective creation.

Um Dia Bom
is an intimate, home-grown film project by Tiago Rosa Rosso, who wrote, directed, and produced the piece shortly after working on Prisma.

Made with a cast and crew of close friends and family, the film was shot entirely at Tiago’s home in the Algarve, where everyone lived together during the shoot. With no separation between life and filmmaking, each day on set felt like a celebration of creativity, connection, and joy.
